Community Schools

Benton County’s public school system is operated by the Benton Community School Corporation. The corporation includes three elementary schools for grades Kindegarten-6th and one Jr./Sr. High School. Accredited by the North Central Association, the school corporation is filled with seasoned teachers and offers many programs including Adult Continuing Education, After-school programs and an excellent array of athletic and extracurricular activities for our young people.

Looking for a private, faith-based education for your child? Sacred Heart School, located in Fowler, provides a strong academic community, centered around the Catholic faith. Established in 1891, Sacred Heart School is open to Catholic and non-Catholic students in Preschool through 6th Grade.

In addition to our primary and secondary education system, Benton County is home to numerous preschools that can help your youngster get a jump-start on learning as early as age 3.
