Need some easy ways to boost your energy? Try these tips!
Stress management- Too much stress can zap your energy. Try this-deep breathing excercises.
Exercise- Even small bouts of excercise make you feel better! Make a point to get up and walk every few hours. (every hour is ideal, but starting small can be helpful) Walk for 10 mins. to get your energy up.
Begin the Day with Breakfast- Try a breakfast smoothie made with fruits and low fat milk.
Eat Smaller More Frequent Meals- This helps stabilize your blood sugar throughout the day. Pack healthy fruit or weggie snacks the night before and take them with you.
Sleep- If you are getting less than 6 hours a night, it can be detrimental to your health. Try this-take a quick 'Power Nap' if possible.
Fluids- Dehydration can make you feel sluggish. Your body needs fluid to function at it's best. Increase your water intake by one bottle a week until you reach the recommended 64oz. a day.
Listen to Music- Listen to your favorite song for an instant energy and mood boost.
