ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Beginning January 1, 2010 the Benton County, Indiana Amended Capital Improvement Plan was adopted to specify the use of revenues received by the county from the economic development income tax (EDIT). These revenues were planned to fund several different economic development projects including the funding of a Benton County Economic Development office. With the retention and expansion of our local business being the primary focus for the office, the Benton County Commissioners, Bryan Berry, Leon Cyr, and Kevin Leuck, hired Kelly Kepner as the full-time Economic Development Director and Lelia M. Jozwiak as the full-time Administrative Assistant.
