The Purdue Extension Office in Benton County is now a distributing agency for the Indiana Safe Sleep Program. The program provides safe sleep education and cribs to families in need of a crib for their baby. There is no income criteria, however they must currently have no safe place for their baby to sleep and no other resources to acquire a safe place for them to sleep. Anyone in need can contact Kelsie Muller at the BC extension office, 884-0140.

Mission
The mission of the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service is education of Indiana citizens through the application of land-grant university research and knowledge base to develop youth and strengthen agriculture, families and communities.
